What is this league you ask? It is a combination of two of the most fun things about football season, Madden and Fantasy Football.
This is going to combine your fantasy knowledge with your madden skills and give us the Ultimate Fake Football Champion!
Here's the Break Down
- Must have an XBOX 1 and XBOX Live and plan on purchasing Madden '16 (or have very good access to someone or some place that does).
- Looking to build a 10-16 team league
- Must be available to play 2 total games of Madden on Tuesday and/or Wednesday of the football week.
FANTASY FOOTBALL PORTION
- This will be a SuperFlex Standard NON PPR Scoring League
- Draft will be Live Auction League on ESPN Date TBD
- 18 man rosters with starting line up of QB HB HB HB/WR WR WR SuperFlex (QB/HB/WR/WR/TE) TE D K
- Random Head to Head Schedule Generated by ESPN
MADDEN '16 PORTION
- Two games are to be played the Tuesday/Wednesday following your fantasy game with your head to head fantasy opponent. 4 minute quarters regular time on All Pro.
- Prior to these two games you must "submit" your Madden Fantasy Starting Line up in the same format QB HB HB HB/WR WR WR SuperFlex (QB/HB/WR/WR/TE) TE D K
- Must post picture of Madden Game Results with picture of your players stats
- Madden Teams will be drafted Snake Style with random order for 1st pick
- A Madden Win counts for +5 points on your total score that week
COMBINATION PORTION
- Fantasy Football Score is added to your Madden Fantasy Football Score plus any points for Madden Wins and most points secures the Win for that Week.
- Standings and league records will be kept up with on a google doc
EXAMPLE
- My Fantasy Team beats your fantasy team 99-89 that week. Well on Tuesday and Wednesday we submit our Madden Fantasy Line ups play 1 game with both of our teams (must use each of your two teams once). You Win both Madden match ups and your madden fantasy team out scores mine 101-100. You would win the week 200-199.
This is just an idea I came up with riding home from Ohio the other day, I'm aware it may need some tweaking and I'm up for any ideas/feedback or just not moving forward with the league all together. One thing is for sure I'm going to need a Deputy Commissioner to help add the Madden Fantasy scores every week and keep up with the google doc.
